The Marmot British Ultra

Taking place on the remote Islands on the West Coast of Scotland, the British Ultra will undoubtedly be the toughest multi stage footrace within the United Kingdom.

The event will see athletes compete over 6 days taking in high mountains, exposed coastal cliffs, isolated tracks/trails in one of the more remote and certainly most extreme environments that Britain has to offer.

Latest News - 2009 Entries Now Open

After the fantastic success of the inaugural race, we are delighted to announce that entries are now open for 2009.

Following a review of the inaugural race we have decided to bring the dates forward by three weeks to lessen the impact of the local population of midges. Dave is currently finalising a small number of tweaks to enhance what has proven to be a stunning and challenging course.

The entry fee has been held at the 2008 price, given the interest already expressed, we are expecting to have to impose a yet to be determined entry limit.
